Using 120 characters or less, tell us about FOREVER (The Dragon Wars).
Is Forever possible when everything you ever loved has been taken away?
This novella is book 1 in The Dragon Wars series. Tell us how you came up with the idea/story arc for this series?
At first I just thought I was writing a short story but when I was about 1/3 of the way through it I knew I was writing a trilogy.
And also, toward the end of the book something happens that makes the hero nuts. I wrote the scene in his point of view so that was hard to do too.
What’s next for you in 2013?
Oh wow. I’m finishing The Westervelt Wolves, writing a bunch of short stories, hopefully finishing two other series, and attending two more conferences: Romantic Times (RT) and Romanticon
Pantser or plotter?
Tea or coffee?
Dogs or cats?
Both, we have both, but I think I’m really more of a cat person even though I write more about dogs. Outside of the worlds I create, I think cats and I understand each other better.
A Caribbean island with lots of shade. (I’m a red head)
If you could meet anyone from history, living or dead, who would it it be and why?
Oh wow. I’d love to meet George Elliot! Just love her writing.
Devin Owen has come back from the Dragon Wars a changed Werewolf. For one thing, he’s lost his wolf side as well as much of his desire to live. He spends most of his life doped up to handle the pain from his injured leg.
Lena Knox knew the moment she met Devin that he was her mate. But, she’d been a child at the time and he hadn’t noticed her at all. Now, all grown up, she wants Devin to be the wolf she’s waited for. Not that she has a lot of time for longing with life and home crumbling around her.
A couple of heated encounters draw them together, but is it enough to overcome the war wounds they both carry? Or will an outside enemy destroy them before they get the chance to find forever?
