If you’re looking for a book to immerse yourself in, full of sexy times, family, love and laughter, with a huge dose of heartache thrown in, then SWEET SOUTHERN BETRAYAL is the book for you. 🙂

Read my full review below

Sweet Southern Betrayal coverReview: The title of this book says it all – Sweet Southern Betrayal. Teague Elliot is a ‘fixer’, hot-shot attorney at a prominent law firm in Washington D.C. who has his life clearly mapped out.

The presidency of the US is at the top of that list, so you know he’s not about to mess things up by doing anything rash…like marrying a Las Vegas dancer the same night he meets her. No, not at all 😉

Alas, his plans are derailed by the interference of a mobster whose legitimate businesses are handled by the firm Teague works for.

Knowing it would create unnecessary complications to refuse Anthony ‘Tony’ Giambetti’s offer, Teague finds himself in Las Vegas, celebrating the wedding of his sister, Taylor, to one of his three lifelong best buds – Lucky.

That’s where he meets Risa Clay, one of the sharpest, toughest, kindest heroines I’ve met in a long time 🙂

Through flashbacks we discover how they met, and learn more about their sizzling chemistry. (Boy are these two hot together!)

Knowing the potential fall-out from his actions, Teague and Risa agree to let what happened in Vegas, stay in Vegas. Or so he thinks…

A few days later, Risa makes a surprise visit to Teague’s home town because she has some surprising information to share, which is best done face-to-face.

Thus begins the tale of a mobster trying to blackmail Teague, even as the small-town of Elliott welcomes his new bride with a hilarious reception party (yup, they got married that night)

If you’re looking for a book to immerse yourself in, full of sexy times, family, love and laughter, with a huge dose of heartache thrown in, then SWEET SOUTHERN BETRAYAL is the book for you. 🙂
